We recently visited Corfu for a holiday, and what started as a relaxing getaway turned into something much more transformative, a journey into the world of naturist beaches. There was a shared understanding of respect, which created an atmosphere where everyone could relax and just enjoy the moment. This wasn’t just a beach, it was a community of like-minded people enjoying the freedom of being their authentic selves.
The Incredible Freedom of Naturism
What struck us most was the sheer sense of freedom. It’s hard to put into words how liberating it feels to shed not only your clothes but also the societal expectations and judgments that come with them. The sun on our skin, the sea breeze, the sound of the waves, it all felt so natural, so grounding. We felt more connected to nature, more in tune with ourselves, and completely at ease.
